1971 First Edition M.I. Hummel Annual Plate by W. Goebel
Item Details
A 1971 M.I. Hummel commemorative collector’s plate by W. Goebel. The piece depicts an angel in green robes with yellow stars. He is shown over red text of ‘1971’, holding a candle against a background adorned with evergreens and a bright star. The plate is signed in mold to the lower left and marked to the verso with ‘First Edition, M.I. Hummel Annual Plate, 1971, In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of W. Goebel-Hummelwerk, W. Germany, Hum 264, 1970’. It comes in a Goebel cardboard box.
Condition
- faint wear and markings; pitting to underside; wear to box.
