State House "Inaugural" Sterling Silver Flatware Set
Item Details
A sterling silver flatware set by State House. In the Inaugural pattern, these feature narrow stems and blossom bordered handles. This includes eleven knives with stainless steel blades, a slightly longer knife with a stainless blade, twelve forks, twelve salad forks, eight place spoons, twelve teaspoons, two cocktail forks, a serving fork, a gravy ladle, a master butter knife, and a sugar spoon. Each is marked ‘state house sterling’. They are presented with four pieces of silver plate including a three piece youth set in the figural BEV7 pattern by Berndorf, and a Drake souvenir spoon by Theodor Olsens Eftf. This collection is presented within a wooden storage chest. The total approximate weight, excluding the knives with stainless steel blades and the silver plate flatware, is 59.515 ozt.
