Item Details

A late 20th century Russian Fedoskino hand painted portraiture lacquer box features a young women. She is standing in a relaxing pose in the foreground juxtaposed with a wooded scene in the background. The lid is hinged which opens to reveal a red lacquer interior. Both the lid and the box have gold scroll detailing along the sides. The artist name is in the lower right corner and the village name appears on the left.
