An original 1968 hand-pulled color lithograph poster, designed and signed in plate by well-listed and historically renowned Spanish Surrealist, Joan Miró (1893 – 1983), titled Fondation Maeght; published by Arte Adrien Maeght. This poster was created to promote a retrospective exhibition of Miró’s works at the Maeght Foundation, Saint Paul-de-Vence, in honor of the artist’s 75th birthday. This work is mounted under glass in a simple wood frame with a black finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- bottom of poster is notably damaged with moisture, having wrinkling and staining. Frame is worn.
