A hand knotted Heriz Serapi area rug. This rug features a dense floral pattern within a large central pendant medallion. The rug is designed with warm and cool tones in cream. peacock blue, terracotta and green. It includes three minor borders and a primary border with repeating pattern. It has a cotton fringe to either end. Rug is unmarked. Retains original hang tag from Cincinnati’s Closson’s Gallery.
