Vintage British Army & Navy Brass Hot Water Carrier

Item Details

A vintage brass hot water carrier from the English Army and Navy Stores. This piece has an oval base and body with a hinged lid that opens towards the back. Sturdy brass handles are affixed to the top and the back of the carrier which may have once been used to facilitate hot baths. The underside is stamped, ‘ARMY AND NAVY / C.S.L. / MAKERS / LONDON / 20.’
