A vintage hand-knotted Sarouk wool area rug. The rug features an allover floral motif in the center panel, with tall floral motifs in the corners, in a palette of dark blue, light blue, red, ivory, green and black. The center panel is framed with a floral border on a red background, with resolved corners, and guard borders of ivory, with running leaf and flower patterns. It has overcast edges and cotton warp fringe to each end. No maker’s marks or labels.
