Item Details
A needlepoint on linen of floral patterns by artist Marge Benn. This piece depicts various flowers interlocking in a central composition, composed of pale blue, green, salmon, yellow and red thread. It is contained in an octagonal frame bordered by a red and gold tone foliate border. This work is presented under glass beneath matting cut to fit the octagonal shape, which is placed in a gold tone wooden frame. To the verso is a handwritten note of provenance, noting that this was done by Grandma Benn in the 1970’s. Attached to the hanging wire is a blue ribbon from the Georgia Senior Golfers Association, placing this in first.

- minor wear to frame; could benefit from dusting; tape residue to top right corner of verso.
