A piece of hand-embroidery on linen of flowers by artist Marge Benn. This work depicts a overflowing bouquet of salmon, pale yellow and sky blue flowers contained in an oval vase featuring cut square patterning to the surface. It is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a bronze tone wooden frame. To the verso is affixed hanging wire, in addition to a note of provenance reading ‘To Madeline Benn, Needlework by Grandma Benn, 1970’.
