A set of two 1970 ink wash illustrations on paper by listed Baltimore artist Aaron Sopher (1905 – 1972). The drawings each depict the portrait of a woman, rendered in a palette of black and grey against cream. Each work is signed and titled in black ink to the lower margin with ‘For Susan, From Aaron Sopher, 70’. The drawings are matted and presented under glass in off-white wooden frames, each fitted with hanging wire to the verso. A similar work can be found under Item #17BAL069-971.
