Item Details

A selection of antique French Chinoiserie decorative items. This selection includes a folding corner shelf unit, with three shelves, a box with two hinged doors at the top, a trinket box with hinged lid and brass hardware, a letter box that hangs on the wall, an accordion photo album with corner pockets to hold photos, a square serving tray, and a hand-painted fan. Composed of wood and papier-mâché, the items are highly decorated with figures and hand applied gilt.

Condition

- shelf missing a hook; fan has a tear; box has wear consistent with use; all show some wear.
