Guardian Lion Figurines
Item Details
A group of guardian lion figurines. The three pieces in this lot contain a matching red and white pair and a blue crouching piece. The red and white pair feature deep red backs and thick tails. They stand with one paw on an orb. The small blue and gray ceramic guardian lion is in a crouching stance, with head down and gray tail alert. This piece is marked ‘Kutani’ (九谷) to the base; the other two pieces are unmarked. All three feature protective felt pads underneath.
