A semi-antique hand knotted Persian Malayer area rug. This wool rug features geometric designs in shades of gold, orange and blue on a rectangular indigo field. The field is surrounded by a principally orange major border within lotus minor borders, and an indigo guard border marks the perimeter with close-cropped white fringe at the far ends. Unmarked.
