Vintage Limoges Sterling Toast Holder and Porcelain Plate

Item Details

A sterling silver toast holder with a hand-painted porcelain plate, both by Limoges. The cobalt blue plate has gilt accents and features a hand-painted couple, it is marked ‘Limoges France’ to the verso. The sterling toast holder is attached to a porcelain underplate with sterling overlay. The sterling is marked ‘sterling 925’ with the George A. Henckel Co. maker’s mark to the lower edge and the porcelain underplate is marked ‘Theodore Haviland, Limoges France’ to the verso.

Condition

Toaster holder has chip on bottom.
