A set of antique cards from a circa 1884 game titled Noodles Astray: Eight Merry Games by McLoughlin Brothers. Included are twenty-three lithographed cards depicting caricature illustrations of late 19th-century characters. The set also includes a color lithograph card with the game’s title and two of the illustrated characters. The items are mounted to a black mat background set over a green backing; they are presented under glass in a silver tone metal frame.

Condition

- toning, foxing, fading and edge wear to cards and backing; some staining to cards and frame; scratching and blemishes to frame; no hanging hardware present; frame would benefit from cleaning; mat board is not centered inside frame; wear and staining to board verso; no backing paper present.
