The title page is marked ‘Europe Illustrated – Edited by F. K. Warren, R.B.S. – With Numerous Wood Engravings by the Best Artists – Published by Aldine Book Publishing Co. – Boston’. The verso of the title page is marked ‘Copyright, 1888, By Aldine Book Publishing Co.’ On an endpaper at the front of the book, the barely legible writing reads ‘To Chas S Rena from Aunt Betsey 1889’.
