A serigraph on paper of an original drawing titled Pasiphae Embracing an Olive Tree by Henri Matisse (French, 1869 – 1954). Signed in plate to the lower left corner, the print depicts a story from mythology of the female nude with her arms wrapped around a tree. Mounted under a layer of brown matting, the print is presented under glass in a white metal frame with wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame.

- measured frame, visible image measures approximately 7.375 “W x 9.375”H.
