A watercolor painting of a farmscape, which gouache detailing, by an artist appearing to sign the work ‘L.W. Sander.’ This vibrant work places the viewer inside a grassy field which looks out through wooden fencing toward a red- and green-trimmed house. The piece, signed and dated ‘5-9-50’ to the lower right, is matted under protective glazing and presented in an ornately-carved wooden frame with a wire for hanging.

Condition

- light wrinkling to work; cracking and wear throughout frame; debris and dust to frame; light toning toward edges of mat.
