Antique Flat Top Steamer Trunk

Item Details

An antique flat top steamer trunk. This piece has a gray metal exterior with wood straps in a honey hue. It has brass tone accents to the straps, as well as metal latches, hinges, and brackets. The interior of the lid is lined in pale yellow paper, and the interior base is lined in red and green floral paper.

- rust to metal components; some dents/holes in metal overlay; peeling of paper on inside of trunk with some stains; some cracks to wood on interior of lid; bar that holds chest lid open is damaged; random panel loose inside – unsure of its intended location and function; missing lateral-mounted handles on exterior; no key.
