A chromolithograph of a girl teaching her doll to swim. This print depicts a girl dressed in Victorian-era clothing standing on a sandy island dug with a shovel and pail. The rolling tide surrounds the platform, as she clutches on to her standing doll below. To the lower margins is a printed inscription, as well as an in plate monogrammed artist signature. The print is presented under glass beneath a wide mat in a green and gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- glass could benefit from cleaning; light wear throughout frame finish.
