Decorative Spheres After Historical World Globes
Item Details
A pair of decorative spheres after historical terrestrial globes. One of these wooden pieces features blue-on-cream imagery after a sixteenth-century Mercator globe with extensive text in Latin, while the other features black-on-white imagery after a 1745 globe with text in French. These pieces have no apparent maker’s marks.
