A vintage hand knotted Persian Qum area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion in shades of cream, sage, blue, wine and gold on a red, lozenge shaped field. The field is bounded by blue spandrels and surrounded by a blue major border within floral minor borders, and a wine colored guard border marks the perimeter with white cotton fringe at the far ends. This rug is tagged underneath ‘Made in Iran, Hand Woven Carpet & Rugs’.
