Zaza Meuli Oil Painting on Board of a Boat in an Autumnal Landscape

An oil painting on board by listed Russian/American painting Zaza (Meuli) Milieu (born 1892). Executed in heavy impasto, this depicts a sail boat on a clear blue lake, surrounded by the gold and copper leaves of autumn, with mountains rising in the distance. It is unsigned and presented in a gold tone wooden frame with gesso foliate ornamentation, that is wired for hanging. The artist is written on a label on verso.
