Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Bowl and Commemorative Plate
Item Details
A selection of blue jasperware decorative pieces by Wedgwood. The selection contains a bowl and plate. The plate is decorated with white springs depicting two adults and two children viewing the monuments at Trafalgar Square in London. Lettering in blue reads ‘Christmas’ and ‘1970.’ Encircling the scene are sprigs of holly leaves. Also included is a bowl, which is divided into three sections, each decorated with white springs depicting scenes from ancient Greek/Roman mythology, including Icarus and Pegasus. The pieces are marked on the undersides.
Condition
- marks to the front of the plate; light scratches and tiny chips on the bowl.
