Hand Thrown Stoneware Chip and Dip

Item Details

A hand-thrown stoneware chip and dip platter. The serving piece as made by fusing two separately thrown white stoneware vessels, a dip bowl and a platter, separately, then they were fused together in the glaze kiln. Each has a mottled blue to lavender gloss glaze, applied on the potter’s wheel for a swirled appearance. The signature of the maker appears to the underside, but is illegible.
