Hand-Knotted "Moroccan Bazaar" Wool Area Rug

A Moroccan Bazaar-series wool area rug by Concepts International. This Portuguese-made Miramar rug is hand-knotted in a palette of canary, tomato-red, lime, mustard, and ivory, with fuchsia highlights. It features ten horizontal panels over a mostly ivory field, each panel containing discrete geometric motifs. The field is framed by a single border, grounded in red and featuring bands of chevron stripes in the other colors of the palette. Selvedges are finished, while top and bottom have braided wool warp fringe in cherry, ivory, yellow and tan. It is labeled on the underside.
