Item Details

A semi-antique hand-knotted Caucasian vase area rug. This wool rug features a vermillion field with bouquets of flowers in pedestal vases in shades of cream, teal, sage, and navy. The main border features a geometric pattern in shades of orange, navy, sage, maroon, and vermillion on a cream ground. Selvedges are overcast, while the top and bottom finish with short ivory wool warp fringe. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
