Susan Dell Szajer Original Art Quilt "Morning's Soldiers"
Item Details
An original handmade art quilt by contemporary American artist Susan Dell Szajer (New Mexico), titled Morning’s Soldiers. The piece is made of overlapping hand-tie-dyed pieces of fabric in warm neutral tones. Metallic gold tone thread attaches them to one another, and a tuft of tall wheat embroidered in a variety of metallic threads stands prominently to the center of the composition. The piece is double-matted in pale brown and white and is signed and titled in pencil to the matting’s lower corners. The piece is presented behind glass in a black metal frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso. The artist’s website can be found below under Additional Information.
