Antique A. S. Aloe/Lemaire Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses With Case

Item Details

A pair of antique opera glasses by A. S. Aloe and Lemaire. These late-nineteenth-century-era binoculars feature paneled mother-of-pearl barrels in a gold tone and silver tone metal frame. One eyepiece is marked ‘A. S. Aloe & Co. St. Louis’ and the other is marked ‘Lemaire Fi Paris’; the glasses are presented in a black leather case with a gold tone logo to the blue cloth lining of the lid reading ‘A. S. Aloe & Co. Technical Opticians St. Louis Paris London’.
