An original contemporary oil still life painting on canvas signed to the lower right by artist D. Darst. The image depicts a Native American-style painted water jug with lug handles resting on its side in soft earth, next to a small cracked clay bowl. Dried oak leaves, branches and berries surround the items as warm light illuminates the scene. This work is mounted in a wormy chestnut frame with a cast interior foliate border, equipped to hang.
