Item Details
A collection of flora and fauna prints on paper. Offered in this grouping of thirty-one are six black and white etchings after illustrations of animals by Jean-Gabriel Prêtre (1768-1849), and six offset lithographs depicting assorted birds and flowers, printed by Artistic Picture Publishing Co., Inc. N.Y.C. Also included are nineteen etchings, originally bookplates, of plants, seeds, and other botanical subjects, from a publication by J. Sowerby, London. No prints are presented in frames.
Condition
- overall light toning to prints and wear to edges; botanical etchings have been cut out from original publication and are slightly crooked on one side.
