A collection of vintage sweetheart sterling silver heart charms in a variety of sizes and designs. Heart charms started as trench art in WWI, and the practice continued on through WWII. In the mid 20th century years, soldiers and sailors serving abroad would purchase and bring home sterling hearts, bought on location, for their sweethearts to wear.
