Caucasian Hand-Knotted Kazak Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A Caucasian hand-knotted wool area rug attributed to the Kazak region. It features an abrashed red field with a blue central medallion and four adjacent pendants in off-white. Surrounding the field is an off-white border with alternating ‘X’ motifs in blue and red and flanked by crenelated guard borders. The sides have a few overcast selvage edges, and either end finishes with a short fringe.
