Caucasian Hand-Knotted Kazak Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A Caucasian hand-knotted wool area rug attributed to the Kazak region. It features an abrashed red field with a double central medallions in blue enclosed by an arched lozenge. Surrounding the field is an off-white border with alternating motifs flanked by blue and red guard borders. The sides have a few overcast selvage edges, and either end finishes with a short cotton fringe.
