An antique Empire style mahogany veneer secretary desk. The secretary desk features a bookcase top with glass doors and three interior shelves above a single drawer and several pigeonholes. Below the shelves are two drawers with dovetail construction. The desk surface, supported by slides with brass pulls, folds out to reveal a writing surface covered with green fabric. Below the writing surface is more storage drawers flanked by a pair of turned columns above scroll feet.
