An offset lithograph on paper after artist Adolph Gottlieb, titled The Seer. This print depicts a Neo-Expressionist composition of various undulating and organic shapes layered together in an orderly manner, featuring almond eyes which give certain forms a surreal quality. The scene is composed of earthen and pastel tones in a textural manner. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in plate signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- light wear throughout frame finish; glass could benefit from cleaning; wrinkling to paper backing.
