Item Details
A needlepoint of an embracing couple. This textile depicts a pair of figures with reaching their arms around each other over the edge of a balcony. The scene, which appears to be under the cover of night, includes a large pillar to one edge and shrubbery throughout. The needlepoint is presented unsigned under protective glazing inside a gold tone frame with no backing board, allowing both sides of the work to be seen.

- fair; marks and dents from stretchers; dirt between the needlepoint and the glass; frame showing wear; joints at frame corners uneven.
