A collection of soapstone and fossiliferous limestone figurines and eggs. The seven items in this lot include a Budai and an elephant on a wood stand in a bowenite-green shade glass. They are presented with three soapstone figurines of elderly Chinese men in traditional clothing that may represent the three deities Fu, Lu, and Shou, who carry their symbols such as Shou’s peach for longevity, and two fossileferous limestone eggs on wooden stands. T All the pieces are unmarked.
