Late 19th Century Victorian Eastlake Side Chairs

Item Details

A pair of late 19th century Victorian Eastlake side chairs. The walnut frames feature tablet crests carved with shallow geometric motifs. Directly below are two horizontal slats over caned seats. The chairs are further embellished with reeded stiles continuing to curved, hip supports over shaped, geometric-carved apron. The chairs rise on ring-turned, front legs joined by spindled, box stretchers to the back legs.
