A Plymouth Tambour mantel clock. The Plymouth Clock was a subsidiary of Seth Thomas, a company set up to sell low-end, inexpensive clocks. This 8-day tambour mantel clock features a walnut veneer case with a printed applique design to the front. The round clock face has an off white dial with black Arabic numbers. The front door of the clock face provides access to its two winds, and access to the ‘S F’ slow/fast function. The back of the clock opens to reveal the clock mechanism.
