A sterling silver Lincoln Mint plate of Unicorn Dyonisiaque after Salvador Dali. This plate was issued by the Lincoln Mint and said to be the first sterling silver plate ever created featuring the work of Salvador Dali. The plate is in raised relief and is signed with the artist’s initials “SD 1971” and “The Lincoln Mint Sterling Silver 1210”. Dali (1904-1989) was a Spanish-born artist most closely aligned to the Surrealist movement of the early 20th century and later part of the Modern Art movement and Dadaism.
