A group of two French reproduction offset lithograph posters. Lot includes a reproduction offset lithograph after work by French painter and lithographer Jules Chéret (1836 – 1932). Titled “Aux Buttes Chaumont Jouets 1885”. The reproduction is an advertisement for a French Department Store, also known as the artwork seen in the American television show “Friends”. Also included is a reproduction poster, depicting a flapper tip-toeing with a large wine glass being kissed by a personified sun. Below the figure reads “..du soleil dans un verre.. Cognac Monnet” and a printed artist signature belonging to Leonetto Cappiello, arguably one of the greatest poster artists of all time, in the lower right quadrant. Printed by ‘PosterFoundry.com’. Both pieces are unframed.
