A semi-antique Persian Mehriban accent rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of faded rose, brown, cream, and sage. It features a vase design incorporating sprays of flowers amid other blooms, stems of leaves, and palmettes over an abrashed, rose-colored field. Framing the field are three narrow borders, each featuring an abstract, repeating pattern over brown or cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short, knotted wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
