A hand-knotted Persian wool tribal area rug. This wool rug features a palette of cerulean blue, orange, cadmium yellow, lilac, green, midnight blue, and white, and a hooked lozenge with pendants the reach into a cochineal red field with a tree of life pattern at each corner. The rug offers multiple borders in reciprocating saw tooth, rosette, and trefoil patterns. It has overcast edges and dense, thick cotton warp fringe to each end. Unlabeled.
