A Pearl Co. grandfather clock. The mahogany tone clock features: a bonnet top with rosettes on the scrolls and a twisted finial, glass panels on the front door and sides, carved detail including fluted pilasters to either side of the glass panel on the front, and burled wood veneer accents. Inside a moon dial is affixed to the gold tone clock face. The clock face features a black and gold mottled design in the center, raised Western numerals inside circular outlines offset with floral imagery between them, and a raised embossed design of a crowned human face surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves filling each of the corners. The time is marked with delicate black metal hands and three holes set the main spring, hourly, and fifteen minute chimes. The round pendulum and three weights can be seen through the lower panel of the glass door.
