H. Topman Oil Painting on Canvas
Item Details
A framed oil painting on canvas by H. Topman (born 1904). It depicts two Teutonic gentlemen sitting at a table in a cabin, one smoking a pipe and leaning over the table in conversation, the other smoking and cleaning his rifle. Signed ‘H. Topman’ in the bottom left corner. The piece is set in a gold tone wooden frame with molded floral elements. Hangs from a wire on the reverse. Hand-labeled on the reverse ‘Bought in Germany, April 1966’.
