Item Details
An offset lithograph after artist Maria Brilli’s painting of a clown. This print on paper depicts a clown turning his face to the side with a sad frown and downturn eyes, dressed in a coat and brimmed hat. The composition is rendered with a pastel palette reinforced with energetic, black linework. To the lower left corner of the composition is an in plate signature and date, listed 1992. The print is presented under glass beneath layered matting in a stained wooden frame with a sawtooth bracket affixed to the verso for hanging.
