An antique secrétaire bookcase, resting on a table. This item is made of a marriage of two different furniture pieces. The top half is a secrétaire bookcase, featuring cabinet to store books at the top and a fold down desktop at the base. The bookcase is made of walnut wood and veneer and walnut finished wood. The bottom portion is a table with a walnut finish, has a single drawer with machine cut dovetails, and rests on turned style legs with wood casters.
