Antique Oak Welsh Dresser, Circa 19th Century
Item Details
An antique oak Welsh dresser, circa 19th century. The superstructure features a flared cornice with a paneled frieze above two open shelves over a pair of blind-paneled cabinets. The projecting lower section has a rectangular top above three aligned drawers with paneled fronts and brass teardrop pulls and engraved escutcheons. It rises on three block-and-turned, front legs joined by a conforming stretcher shelf to the square back legs.

Condition
- drawers are difficult to open and close; minor scratches and nicks throughout that are unobtrusive; 4" loss to decorative molding to left facing drawer; backboards of upper section are probably later; some minor worming.
