A Broyhill ‘Corbella’ horizontal chest of drawers with a mirror. The chest comprises: a rectangular overhanging top with graduated edges and angled corners in the front, a horizontal row of three shallow drawers over two vertical rows of three stacked drawers, a graduated molding below the drawers and along the sides, and scrolled feet. Additionally the piece is accented with scrolled acanthus motif and fluted carvings down the angled edges at the front, darker stained borders around the top and drawer fronts, and brass tone floral motif hardware. Makers mark in upper left hand drawer, and style number 4163-30 stamped on back. The detachable mirror features a humped pediment with a scrolled acanthus motif in the molding, rosettes over fluted pilasters down the sides, and a graduated molding along the bottom.
